International Day of Girls and Women in Science

11th February is the International Day of Girls and Women in Science and so our Science Department decided to expand on this theme through a Year 7 skit on Health and Safety in the Science Lab and how to treat an acid burn in line with their topic of the Periodic Table followed by girls across KS3 - 5 varying from how to create your own PH indicator using flowers and the a smashing eggsperiment from Debra on how to find out the level of calcium in an eggshell and so determine the health of an egg (excuse the pun!!)
